In Between The Storms

I’ve moaned a lot about the weather recently, but it did result in one incredible sunset this week.

After a day of near constant drizzle, interspersed with periods of showers, punctuated by occassional patches of rain, the weather started to clear up by sunset. There were still plenty of rain clouds about but they had thinned out just enough to let the setting sun through, resulting in this explosion of pinks and oranges and reds. And rainbows. It was quite the spectacle. I quickly grabbed my Pixel and shot this composition.
